Activity Description

Farms can help grow high quality, nutrient dense produce through regenerative agriculture to help their communities with issues like food insecurity and land degradation. We will learn about the benefits of organic farms and do gardening tasks to help Hope Full Farm. All supplies are provided.

Activity Requirements

  • This activity is for ages 10 and up.
  • This partner has required waivers in addition to our RSVP. Please be sure to complete all waivers linked in your RSVP confirmation email as soon as possible.
  • Please wear closed-toed shoes, dress appropriately for the weather, and apply sunscreen before the start of your shift.
  • Please bring a water bottle.
  • This activity is a part of our Family Volunteering program and designed to be a family experience. At least two family members, including at least one adult, are required to work alongside each other for these activities and experience volunteerism together. Child drop-off is not allowed for this activity.

Hope Full Farm is a certified organic farm in the Texas Hill Country that practices regenerative agriculture, which revitalizes the environment and the soil, and leads to producing nutrient dense food. They donate their locally grown, organic, whole foods at no cost to Central Texas students and their families and aim to be a part of the solution to a more fair and equitable food system.
