SERVE at Home is a way for your family to spread kindness and help our community on your own, anytime, anywhere! We want to keep Austin volunteering all week long!

People's Community Clinic works to improve the health of Central Texans. For this activity, you will work with your family collect reusable shopping bags that will be used in the People's Pantry.

Activity Directions

You will need to provide the supplies for this activity.

Go through your supply of reusable shopping bags to decide which ones you would like to share with the clients of People's Community Clinic. Ask friends and neighbors if they have any reusable shopping bags to share. Clean them if needed and deliver them to People's Community Clinic.

Activity Requirements

• This activity is great for all ages!
• This activity is a part of our Family Volunteering program and designed to be a family experience. At least two family members, including at least one adult, are required to work alongside each other for these activities and experience volunteerism together.

SERVE at Home Program Information

Our SERVE at Home activities are a way for your family to spread kindness and help our community on your own, anytime, anywhere! Work with your family to complete this activity anytime during the month. Be sure to take pictures of your family working together on this project so we can certify your submission when you are done. We ask that SERVE at Home activities be completed within a month of the calendar listing or within 7 days of the listing, whichever time frame is longer.

After you RSVP for this event, we will send you an email with a form for you to submit your photos and let us know you've completed the activity!
