Generation SERVE has adopted a garden plot at Mayfield Park for over 10 years! Help us keep it beautiful by weeding, planting, watering, and mulching. Exact tasks depend on the needs and season!

Activity Requirements

• This activity is great for all ages.
• Please wear closed toe shoes and and dress appropriately for the weather.
• Please bring a water bottle.
• This activity is a part of our Family Volunteering program and designed to be a family experience. At least two family members, including at least one adult, are required to work alongside each other for these activities and experience volunteerism together. Child drop-off is not allowed for this activity.

More About Our Partner

Over 30 garden plots scattered throughout Mayfield Park have been planted and are maintained by volunteers. Most of the gardens are located near the lily ponds and are adopted by individuals, families, and community groups. Mayfield Park is under the supervision of the Austin Parks and Recreation Department.
